  • balanced depth in cultural and technical literacy:
    We equip you to solve problems with an interdisciplinary understanding of arts, cultures, sciences, technologies and effective human-AI interaction.
  • individualised learning journeys:
    Your learning experience at Nayanta is shaped by personalised mentoring from faculty for critical choices such as major-minor combinations, research or career choices.
  • deep real-world exposure:
    The 3 immersions in corporate, social and government sectors followed by a 5-month internship in the sector of student’s choice, or 5-month research project with a faculty, prepares you for the beginning of your career.
  • merit-based, need-aware admissions process:
    The Nayanta admissions process is designed to identify multiple intelligences and affirm diverse abilities, across geographies and socio-economic backgrounds of India.
  • Applicants must be taking their Grade XII (or equivalent) final exams.
  • Applicants who have already completed their Grade XII (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
  • Students from all Indian and International boards are welcome to apply.

Specific Board Requirements

  • International Baccalaureate (IB): Applicants pursuing the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) are eligible to apply.
    Applicants pursuing the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP) or the IB Certificate Programme must have completed a minimum of four IB DP subjects, including at least two at Higher Level (HL), to be eligible to apply. They are also requested to email [email protected] with their application number and a brief note on their IB pathway and subject choices, including the factors that guided their decision. Such applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Cambridge Board: Applicants must have completed a minimum of 3 A-Level subjects.
  • Other International Boards: Applicants must submit an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), along with their official board-issued transcript.

We are getting to know you through your application form, essays, aptitude test, and interview. This helps us understand your academic strengths, personal qualities, resilience, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

  1. Application Submission: Begin your journey by submitting a comprehensive online application form.
  2. Nayanta Aptitude Test (NAT): Take our aptitude test to demonstrate your readiness for Nayanta’s curriculum. The NAT contains four sections: Verbal, Numerical, Reasoning, and On-the-Spot Essay. The duration of the test is 1 hour and 10 minutes.

  3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a conversation. This is an opportunity to share your story, motivations, and goals while allowing us to understand how you will contribute to and benefit from the Nayanta community.
  4. Financial Aid: For those seeking support, the financial aid process follows. Our need-aware policy affirms diverse talents and abilities, across geographies and socio-economic backgrounds of India.

At Nayanta, we recognise that students’ academic journeys are not always linear and that the right university fit can take time to discover. While this is our founding class, we are welcoming applications from transfer students who wish to continue their studies with us.


who can apply
 

Applicants who have completed Grade 12 and are currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme and are seeking a change of environment, curriculum or approach to learning, may be eligible to transfer to Nayanta University.

  1. Submit the detailed application form.
  2. Raise an email request at [email protected] upon successful submission of the form, indicating your intent to transfer. 
  3. Complete the admissions process, which may include the Nayanta Aptitude Test (NAT) and Interview.

  • Grade 10 and Grade 12 board-issued transcripts. 
  • University-issued transcripts along with the grading structure. 
  • Course outlines and curriculum for courses you have completed. 
  • Other relevant certificates issued by the University

 

important note 

Each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, with close attention to your academic standing and alignment with Nayanta’s programme. Transfer students must complete any additional courses required to fulfil the credit requirements for Nayanta’s undergraduate programme.

The annual tuition fee is payable in three installments, at the beginning of each term.

The annual residence fee is payable in full, before class commencement, at the beginning of each academic year.

*The refundable security deposit is a one-time payment of ₹50,000/-, to be paid at the time of admission, and will be refunded upon completion of the four-year programme.

***Fees will be adjusted for inflation annually within a range of 5% to 8%.

  • Nayanta University is committed to supporting students from diverse backgrounds through financial assistance, including partial or full fee waivers, based on family income and other factors.
  • The admissions process is need-aware, meaning financial assistance does not impact admission decisions. The Financial Support Office is separate from the Admissions Office.
  • Financial assistance related documents will be collected only after an applicant is shortlisted. We recommend preparing the following documents in advance:
  • Income Certificate
  • Caste/EWS Certificate
  • Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years (if available)
  • Financial Statements for family-owned businesses (if applicable)
  • Household Accounts (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, medical expenses)
  • CIBIL Report (if applicable)
  • NSDL Financial Asset Statement (if applicable)
  • Details of Fixed Assets (including land)
  • Any other relevant documents

  • Eligibility criteria include completion of higher secondary education (12th grade or equivalent) with a qualifying percentage. Please refer to the detailed eligibility criteria mentioned above.

  • All applicants are required to take the Nayanta Aptitude Test (NAT).
    Standardised test scores are not mandatory, but we encourage applicants to include them in the online application form if available.

  • No.

  • Applicants with SAT/ACT scores should mention their scores in the online application form and upload the official score report within the admissions portal.

    Nayanta University accepts SAT Scores by CollegeBoard for admissions to all the UG Programmes, for those applicants who have taken it. You can send us your scores directly, by using Score Send Code: 58350

  • Yes, the admission fee is adjusted against the first-year tuition fee.

  • The residential fee covers accommodation, utilities, and meal plans.

  • You can confirm your acceptance through the admissions portal by completing the required formalities and paying the one-time admission fee.

  • The confirmation fee amount will be specified in your offer letter. It is typically a part of the first installment of tuition fees.

    Fees can be paid online through the admissions portal via net banking, credit/debit cards, NEFT/RTGS or other accepted payment methods. If you face any technical difficulties while making the payment, please contact the Admissions office.
